Communities
 Chapel Hill,
located in the northeast corner of Marshall County, is a
close-knit community with an abundance of growth
opportunities. With boarders touching Williamson and
Rutherford County, Chapel Hill is currently the fastest
growing community, both residentially and commercially, in
Marshall County. This may be attributed to friendly people,
quality schools and a pleasant atmosphere in addition to
location.
 Cornersville
is located in the beautiful setting of southern Marshall
County with a backdrop of hills and ridges encircling the
1.9 square miles of the town. Cornersville is located
minutes from major populous regions of both Tennessee and
Alabama due to two convenient exits on Interstate 65.
 Lewisburg
is located on Interstate 65, 48 miles from a major East/West
corridor (I-40) and south of SR 840, Lewisburg, Tennessee is
fortunate to have one of the best geographical locations in
the state for industrial development. Proximity to these
major transportation arteries provides industry with a
reliable system of logistical supply and distribution.
Additionally, the easy accessibility of Lewisburg allows
companies to use the labor pool of surrounding counties for
growth expansion.
Known for its Walking Horse Industry and the scenic rural
beauty of lower Middle Tennessee, Lewisburg is also becoming
known as a great place to live and work.
 Petersburg
rests on the Marshall County and Lincoln County line. One
hundred and sixty-seven structures make up the Petersburg
Historic District. The town has a cozy square with most of
the buildings dating back to the 1880's and 1900's, the
period following the establishment of the railroad from
Lewisburg to Fayetteville.
Local attractions consist of Morgan School Pavilion and
Park, Town Square Courtyard, Historic Jail, Turk's Antiques
& Variety Store, C & G Furniture, Community Library, Many
Historic homes and churches and a Community Center. The
Petersburg community has one simple motto: STICK TO THE
